I live in a very unique small town, Ashland, Oregon. Many would say it’s an throw-back to the ’60’s and in some ways it is. It’s very artsy with a world renowned Shakespeare Festival, a bunch B&B’s and galleries surrounded by organic farms and vineyards. Anyway, a buzz word around here is ‘authentic’. Being authentic, being real, being true to your beliefs and values.  Well now it seems the Google has jumped on that bandwagon too.

Unique, authentic, well written content, of course peppered with just the right keywords in just the right places, is now given much more weight by the Google algorithms and copied, redundant and overused and re-used content is getting hammered.
