By taking complex, complicated and technical Internet marketing strategies, tactics and tools and “simplifying” them so they are easy for non-technical small business people to understand and apply I have built a following of many thousands of subscribes, “likes” and “followers.

I started publishing my Internet Marketing Tips newsletter in 1995 (it started out being delivered via fax). Thousands of small business owners now receive my Internet Marketing Tips newsletter via e-mail twice a month.

I cut through the smoke and mirrors, the hype, the latest “flash in the pan” ideas, and all the rest, to deliver simple, proven, easy to use marketing strategies and tactics that are actually usable by the non-technical business person.

Again, I’m a marketing guy, not a techie. I’m a no-nonsense communicator with more than 1,550 Internet marketing presentations, seminars, webinars under my belt. ALL delivered to audiences of small business owners.

Because I personally work with real clients daily and typically deliver 3-5 new presentations each month you can bet I’m up-to-date on the latest Internet marketing developments, but I’ve also been at this long enough to not get too impressed, too early. I blog about “tried and true” much more than “new and exciting”.

Because I personally wasn’t much of a blog reader until 2009 I waited until 2010 to start publishing my Internet marketing blog. If I wasn’t a blog reader I didn’t want to be a blog writer.

In 2009 I subscribed to several Internet marketing blogs, I liked the format and ease of going through past posts and sorting by topics, but I was less impressed with the content, some were too technical, others were too “salesy”, many were just too long and boring. Before long I decided to start my own Internet marketing blog.

There are thousands on Internet marketing blogs available and I would not have started mine if I didn’t feel there was a need for the type of blog I have created. A blog that is MARKETING oriented, pithy, non-technical, diverse without being confusing. No hype and no long posts that take 10 minutes to read.

I decided on a “Daily Tip” format and I typically post 1 short Internet marketing tip per day, 5 days a week. Occasionally I’ll add a second or third tip or a Saturday post, but it’s mainly a tip a day 5 days a week.

My topics include-  Social marketing, Google SEO, Content Development, Article Marketing, Bing SEO, Branding, Copy Writing, E-mail Marketing, FaceBook for Business, Google Analytics, Google Places, Image Ads, Keyword Research, Link Bait, Linkedin, Local Search, Long Tail SEO, Market Research, Mobile Marketing, Pay Per Click, PPC, Press Releases, Reputation Management, Search Engine Ranking Reports, SEO, Social Marketing, Social Networking, Twitter, Video Marketing, Website Content, Conversion Improvement, Website Copy and much more.

You can subscribe either by e-mail or the RSS feed, personally I usually subscribe to blogs via e-mail because I like the convenience of getting e-mail updates.

I mentioned earlier that I work with clients daily, one of the things I help them with is Search Engine Optimization, SEO, I have optimized this page for the term “Internet Marketing Blog”. You can see how effective I was in my SEO effort by Googling on “Internet Marketing Blog” and see where this page ranks. Oh, and be sure to subscribe at- http://imgmembers.com/blog/
