For the past 3+ years I have facilitated the Ashland Internet Marketing Group. The meetings are FREE and open to anyone with anyone with an interest in using the Internet to build their business.
We meet from 4:30-6:30PM on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Ashland Public Library (downstairs in the room Gresham Room). We discuss and learn about how we can better use the Internet to build our businesses. Topics include Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Marketing, e-mail marketing, Pay Per Click advertising, FaceBook, WordPress, LinkedIn, etc.
Search Engine Optimization
This month the focus will be on Search Engine Optimization (I can’t believe it’s been 11 months since we last had SEO as a topic).
Here’s what we’ll do:
- Have people volunteer their websites for an SEO “makeover”
- Go through the process of identifying the BEST keywords for each site
- Show how to prioritize the keywords
- Show how to create optimized content for the keywords
- Show how to add the optimized content to the site
- Show how to do “on page” optimization
- Show how to “on-site” optimization
This will be a “soup to nuts” session on the precise steps you can take to obtain and maintain top Google rankings on you important keywords.
